We support women athletes during and after pregnancy offering Pilates appointments that are both safe and challenging. We will adjust your workout as appropriate for each trimester of pregnancy and incorporate Myofascial release techniques to address potentially extensive tightness resulting from a shift in gravity and increased weight. We have extensive knowledge and experience with which exercises are beneficial during and after pregnancy as well as which ones to avoid. Our emphasis on Pilates, as the perfect form of exercise for pregnancy, will help you strengthen and lengthen your body without subjecting your muscles and joints, or your baby, to excessive impact or stress. We will help you safely and efficiently work through any restrictions in order to provide you with relief from many of the typical symptoms and discomforts associated with pregnancy. Once your baby is born, we will help you quickly return to your pre-pregnancy level of health and performance. We specialize in diastasis recti treatment and can advise on pelvic floor and abdominal exercises for women before and after pregnancy.
